SECC announces Coca-Cola as official sponsor

Wednesday, March 16, 2011

The Scottish Exhibition & Conference Centre (SECC) today announced that Coca-Cola is to be an official sponsor of the iconic Glasgow venue.

As part of the three year sponsorship deal, Coca-Cola will have full pouring rights across events, conference and exhibition space at the SECC, catering for the thousands of visitors welcomed at the venue each year.

The sponsorship deal further cements the SECC's commitment to working with the best brands in the business.

"Much like the SECC, Coca-Cola is a much loved, iconic brand.  Aligning ourselves with quality brands and securing this new sponsorship deal with Coca-Cola is very much part of our vision to position Glasgow and Scotland at the forefront of the global event and entertainment industry." comments John Sharkey, SECC CEO.

"The SECC is a perfect fit for our brand and we are really looking forward to working with the SECC making sure visitors to the venue, whether there for a concert, conference or exhibition, enjoy our range of drinks," comments Alan Halliday, Regional Director - Scotland for Coca-Cola Enterprises.

The sponsorship deal will take immediate effect and from today visitors to the venue can enjoy Coca-Cola products served throughout the venue including Coca-Cola, diet Coke, Coca-Cola Zero, Sprite, Fanta, Glaceau Vitamin Water, Powerade, Relentless and Schweppes Abbey Well.
