Fanta Brings a Taste Of Summer with New Fanta Beach

Fanta, the number one brand in the Flavoured Carbonates sector worth £99m[2] is bringing a taste of sunshine to shoppers with the launch of an exciting new seasonal variant this May.

New Fanta Beach Strawberry & Kiwi flavour contains natural flavourings and is the first Fanta Beach variant to be launched in Great Britain (GB), with further variants planned for 2012. It is available in 330ml cans, 500ml bottles, 2ltr bottles and 330ml can multipacks. The launch will be supported by a brand new TV ad set on Miami Beach later in the summer.

Selena Taylor, Trade Communications Manager at Coca-Cola Enterprises Ltd, comments: "2011 is a really exciting year for Fanta. Fanta's innovative marketing activities will help to drive brand growth and also raise awareness of the launch of new Fanta Beach Kiwi & Strawberry to GB.

As well as activity to mark the launch of Fanta Beach, a new TV ad, entitled, 'Bounce,' also hit TV screens this week, along with an impactful outdoor campaign to support the overall Fanta brand. Set to the upbeat track 'It's Like That' by Run DMC, it shows Fanta triggering a world of 'less serious' moments as characters bounce across the city and spread infectious laughter.

The campaign includes engaging new TV and cinema activity, as well as experiential sampling. This will also be supported digitally, with funny videos regularly uploaded onto the brand website, as well as the Fanta YouTube and Facebook page, whilst in-store, print and mobile activity will be spreading the 'More Fanta, Less Serious' message.

Fanta is also teaming up with Merlin Entertainments Group and Facebook to create the 'Fanta King of the Park' interactive game. In addition to this, a money saving 2-for-1 ticket offer will be featured on over 24 million Fanta Orange and Fanta Zero packs over the school Summer holidays, on shelf in June.
