Coca-Cola to present London 2012 Olympic Torch Relay, bringing the Olympic Flame to millions of people across the UK

London 26 May 2010: Coca-Cola is today announcing that it will serve as a Presenting Partner of the London 2012 Olympic Torch Relay (OTR) helping to spread the magic of the Olympic Games well beyond London, and inspiring communities across the UK to participate in the biggest celebration of world sport.
Coca-Cola has been continuously associated with the Olympic Games since 1928 - longer than any other sponsor - and has supported the OTR since 1992. Coca-Cola will be drawing on its unrivalled heritage of involving people in the excitement of the Games, and will particularly focus on encouraging young people from every corner of the UK to apply for their chance to carry the Olympic Flame.
Coca-Cola supported its first Olympic Torch Relay in 1992. Since then, Coca-Cola has helped to take the flame to 41 countries, covering over 200,000 miles and sharing the Olympic spirit with millions of people around the world.
