Simon Baldry to lead Coca-Cola Enterprises in Great Britain

LONDON, 7 October 2008 - Coca-Cola Enterprises Ltd (CCE) today announced the appointment of Simon Baldry as Vice President and General Manager of its business in Great Britain. Baldry starts his new role in Coca-Cola Enterprises, the largest bottler of Coca-Cola Company products in the world, this week.
Simon Baldry said: "I am really excited about joining Coca-Cola Enterprises and leading the team in Great Britain. It is a fantastic opportunity to work with some of the best known soft drinks brands in the world and to lead a team with a strong track record in delivering success."

Simon Baldry was previously Managing Director of Cadbury Schweppes in Great Britain & Ireland. Before that he was responsible for successfully developing the Cadbury and Mars businesses in Eastern Europe where he was based for ten years. Earlier in his career he was the Brand Manager for Coke Flavour Brands at Coca-Cola Schweppes in the UK.
Baldry graduated from Loughborough University in Management
Sciences and has represented his country at international
competition in both the Modern Pentathlon and Fencing. He is
married with two children.
