Oasis Launch New Ads to Hydrate Retail Sales
Tuesday, June 24, 2008
Coca-Cola Enterprises Ltd (CCE) has launched another
ground-breaking advert for the UK's number one Adult Juice Drink,
Oasis . The advert will air on the 3rd July as part of a £4 million
marketing investment which includes TV and outdoor advertising, PR
and in-store POS materials.
Oasis is currently worth £79 million in retail sales and as
well as being the number one Adult Juice Drink brand, is one of the
fastest growing established soft drink brands in the UK, growing
ahead of the Juice Drinks sector by 14% .
Following the successful 2007 campaign, the advert uses the tagline 'For People Who Don't Like Water' and highlights the refreshing taste of 'Oasis'. The advert begins with a young girl moaning that she is thirsty, to which her mother answers that she should drink some water. The girl refuses and declares her love for Cactus Kid, who would never drink water. At this point Cactus Kid enters to rescue her with a bottle of 'Oasis' and the couple escape to his car to go 'on the run'.
