CCE Highlights 'Schweppes' Russchian at Bar 08

Coca-Cola Enterprises Limited (CCE) is promoting its unique mixer, 'Schweppes Russchian', to the UK on-trade at the number one show for the bar industry, Bar 08.

Available in a 200ml glass bottle, 'Schweppes Russchian' has a sweet, citrus tang. This distinctly fruity flavour combination was developed specifically to mix with vodka, and is now available for the on-trade to purchase through wholesaler Matthew Clarke, as well as Amathus and Venus.

Paul Grace, Head of On-trade Marketing at Coca-Cola Enterprises, comments:
"Many consumers in their early 20's are looking for a different tasting spirit and mixer serve to say, a gin and tonic.  'Schweppes Russchian', served with vodka, is a great option for this target market and helps licensees and bars retain customers in the valuable spirit and mixer category at a time when they may opt for a different category, such as wine."

Recommended 'Schweppes Russchian' and vodka serve:
· Take a clean and cool Highball or Collins glass
· Fill the glass ¾ full with dry, large cubed ice
· Carefully pour the correct measure of the consumers' chosen vodka and then take a chilled bottle of 'Schweppes' Russchian and pour over ice
· Take a lime wedge, squeeze and drop into drink

Total on-trade soft drink sales are worth nearly £4million to licensees and more than 50% of these sales are from mixers .
