Prior to joining Coca‑Cola and Schweppes Beverages, I worked for Cadbury Schweppes at their Head Office as Senior Financial Assistant, but realised that this did not utilise my skills, so I decided to make my first career change and transferred to CCSB as a Field Sales Executive.
Having spent three years as a Field Sales Executive, we then went through the whole organisational restructure and this created a great opportunity for me to make the move into my first people management role. This also gave me the opportunity to shape and influence the Cooler Merchandising programme that was introduced by CCE in 1997.
12 months later I then moved into the role of Sales Manager in the Independent Channel and whilst in this role I covered the role of Regional Account Manager looking after some of the Wales and West Region's multiple convenience groups.
After nearly five years I decided that it was time to have another career change and this time moved to the HR function as the HR Project Manager for Inductions. As part of this role I created what is today, the Company Welcome that all new employees to the organisation now attend. Once I completed the Induction project, I undertook a European Project and was the GB Project Manager that delivered and introduced the LMS training system.
Having spent two years undertaking project roles, I then decided it was time to be a client facing HR manager and learn a whole new area, with a new array of challenges.
