Real Energy Vibe

Real Energy Vibe (REV!) is a project aimed at getting people in Central Scotland moving by supporting dance in the community. Its key themes are taking part, building confidence, getting moving, and rewarding talented individuals at the grass-roots level. Almost 5,000 boys and girls took part in the 2003 pilot - the aim was to have over 10,000 participating in 2004. The REV! Streetdance Championships took place in August 2004; other events included the "Summer of Streetdance" to inspire teachers and pupils, and the sponsoring of Swedish streetdance sensations BOUNCE and Hip London Dance Troupe Rudeye to dance on the streets of Edinburgh and Glasgow.
