Based in Nottingham, our 40 strong Custom Order Management Services team are the point of contact for our 400 largest customers. These include the main grocery retailers, wholesale customers, national retail outlets and the main brewers. Our function is to take our customers' orders and through collaborative planning, manage their demands. We have excellent relationships with our customers, meeting a number of them every month to ensure smooth working.
Over the past few years we have developed a collaborative response to demand management which has mutual benefits for our customers and for our business. For example, we now work seven days a week to take orders and reduce delivery lead-times. We ascribe the team's success to having the right people, the right systems and the right culture to make intelligent choices to benefit customers and ourselves.
We employ over 40 people, and have a commitment to training and development, which was publicly recognised in 2000, when we were accredited by Investors in People.
