• Milton Keynes was established in 1976 and employs 235 people.
• We have nine manufacturing lines.
• We produce 48 million cases per year.
• We are the only Coca-Cola Enterprises (CCE) site in Great Britain to produce Bag-in-Box (BiB)*,and we are a direct supplier to McDonald's.
• Milton Keynes is the only plant in Great Britain to produce Capri-Sun and Monster Energy products.
• We were the first site in CCE to achieve The Coca-Cola Company's new certified standard for Quality,Food Safety, Environment & Safety.
• Our Operational Excellence Teams are externally accredited. Team members hold qualifications in Business Improvement Techniques, and run projects to continuously improve efficiency on site.
• Since 2007, we have sent zero waste to landfill.

Reducing our impact on the environment

At CCE we are dedicated to reducing our impact on the environment, and one way we are doing this at the Milton Keynes plant is by installing solar tubes.

These devices are placed on the roof of the plant to collect natural light, and channel it down reflective tubing into diffusers that illuminate the factory interior.

This reduces the need for artificial lighting, decreasing our energy usage.The tubes are also beneficial for our employees, who can enjoy working in natural daylight.

* Bag-in-Box (BiB) is a type of container for syrup concentrate. The syrup is stored in a bag inside a cardboard box and supplied to commercial customers, who mix the syrup with carbonated water using a drink dispenser such as a soda fountain.
