• East Kilbride was established in 1964 and employs 181 employees.
• We have 4 manufacturing lines.
• We produce 14.9 million cases each year.
• Our Automated Storage and Retrieval System (ASRS) warehouse was the first of its kind in CCE, and it can hold 14,000 pallets.
• Our distribution centre has capacity for 120 bulk delivery vehicles and 12 DSD(Direct Store Delivery) vehicles per day.
• We are the only manufacturing site in GB that produces Appletiser, Grapetiser, Peartiser and Fruitiser in glass.
• We are the only site in CCE GB to produce both carbonates and fruit juices on our two glass production lines.
• Our dedicated education centre on site has attracted over 22,000 visitors from secondary schools, universities and training organisations since it opened in 1998.

Reducing our impact on the environment

At East Kilbride we are providing SAFED (Safe And Fuel Efficient Driving) training courses for all of our DSD drivers. These teach our drivers how to drive their vehicles in a more efficient way, increasing themiles per gallon achieved (by up to 16%) and decreasing gear changes (by 33%), reducing both costsand carbon emissions.

One of our drivers is an approved SAFED trainer, and gave all employees on our site the opportunity topractise some of the techniques during CCE's dedicated Corporate Responsibility and Sustainability week.

This scheme will be rolled out nationally, with our approved trainer visiting all of CCE's Direct Store Deliverysites in Great Britain to share best practice.
